With your technical expertise in Rockwell Automation products such as PLCs, HMIs and Motion Control you will be an integral part of the team providing technical support and customer service. Daily you will work closely with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Technical Support Center teams to provide  high level technical support and ongoing training to customers.

  • Sales of Rockwell PLCs, HMI, and Motion Controls
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with suppliers
  • Serve as the contact for Rockwell Automation and other automation suppliers
  • Participate in development and implementation of Automation business plan and account strategy
  • Provide customer assistance via telephone, email, and on-site assistance in alignment with our Automation Support Center
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver technical training and/or seminars to customers with attention to product lines and vendor offerings
  • Provide technical troubleshooting
  • Maintain technical expertise by participating in continual learning and industry specific technical training
  • Design, build, and program technical demonstration units
You will be successful in this role if you possess the following:
  • 2-year technical degree or 4-year degree in related field of study or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience or exposure in a sales support role
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley processes and products strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel during the day locally in MN about 50% to customers, vendors, and suppliers.
